The Viking Day Unit provides anti-cancer and supportive treatments in a comfortable, purpose built, out-patient setting at the Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother Hospitals.
Viking Day Unit has one large treatment rooms with 10 chairs. Anti-cancer treatments are carried out in this area, as well as supportive therapies such as blood transfusions.
New patient consultations and pre-chemotherapy clinics are also run out of this area.

How to get here
Rail: Ramsgate is the most convenient rail station for Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital. The Thanet Loop bus service runs a direct service every seven or eight minutes from Ramsgate station forecourt. Margate train station and a taxi service is an alternative.
Bus: Stagecoach 'Loop' buses provide a frequent service between the hospital and other Thanet towns such as Margate, Cliftonville, Broadstairs and Ramsgate. The hospital is also served by buses from Canterbury, Birchington, Westgate and Northdown Park on route 8 or 8A.
Parking: Parking is free for first 20 minutes. Charges are clearly displayed in the Parking kiosks. There is a Maximum charge per day. Weekly tickets are available.
